Lycium barbarum / Goji Berry

Goji berries are considered superfoods, with good reason. They are high in antioxidants and carotene, have all the essential amino acids and also contain many minerals. In their native range in China, they are eaten fresh or dried, where they make a delicious addition to granola, smoothies, and more. Can grow up to 8-10 ft tall, though some train them on a trellis. It is self-fertile as well.

Goji berries grow best in full sun and average, well-drained soil. Can tolerate a small amount of shade.
