Heliopsis helianthoides / Ox-eye Sunflower

Heliopsis helianthoides is the Energizer Bunny of perennial sunflowers, it just keeps blooming and blooming and blooming. Some of ours at the garden center are growing over 6 feet tall in their pots and holding onto their blooms well into October! Grow in full sun to part shade in drier, sandy soils. Tolerates clay soils as well. May need staking. Attracts hummingbirds.
