Passiflora edulis / 'Possum Purple' Passion Flower

This vine species of passionflower is native to Brazil and known for its unique and extraordinarily showy flower and sweet, seedy fruits. In our climate we mostly enjoy the deeply lobed leaf shape, curly-q tendrils and climbing habit, but flowers are possible with the right attention. Regular watering, good drainage, a sunny window, and some nutrient input have been known to bring about flowers indoors, and you'll want to support the vine as it climbs. For the fruit you will need 2 and a paintbrush for hand-pollination!
