Pyrus pyrifolia / Hosui Asian Pears

Crispy and juicy round fruits. Asian pears are a good choice because of their tough skin which can resist many pests that apples cannot. These trees can easily become overloaded with fruit, bending the tree or worse breaking branches. Thin the fruit to reduce this risk as well as grow larger and tastier fruits.
