Sedums, or stonecrops, are generally thought of as a desert plant, but woodland stonecrop is actually native to the Northeast! Unlike most stonecrops that thrive in sunny conditions, this species actually prefers part to full shade and average to dry soil. A perfect groundcover for a partially shaded section of your garden.
